Your circumstances. The calculators apply published rules to the inputs you provide. They do not know your credit history, your lender's policies, your municipality's exact rates, the assessed value of a specific property, or the terms of a specific purchase agreement. Actual figures on closing will differ. Confirm every number with your lawyer or notary, your lender or mortgage broker, and the government office that administers the tax before making a decision.
Rules and estimates. Amounts labelled as rules reflect legislation, regulations and published schedules as of the date shown on each page. Amounts labelled as estimates are typical market ranges and may not reflect what you will be charged. Rules change; rates change; a figure that was correct on the date shown may not be correct today.
No guarantee. While we check figures against primary sources and recompute examples against a single engine, we make no representation or warranty that any calculation, figure, or statement is accurate, complete, or current, and we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the site.
