What to send
- A wrong number. Tell us the page, the figure, and if you can, the source that shows the correct one. We check against the primary source and correct every affected page. See the Editorial and accuracy policy.
- A rule that changed. Budget announcements, indexed brackets, new rebates. A link to the government page is the fastest way to get it fixed.
- A calculator question. How a figure was computed, why a rebate did or did not apply, what an estimate is based on. The Sources and methodology page answers most of these.
- A situation not covered. If you hit a cost or a rule the site does not handle, tell us; that is how most of the situations guides came to exist.
What we cannot do
We cannot give advice about your purchase, review your documents, or recommend a lender, broker, lawyer, or agent. We are not licensed to, and we have no referral arrangements with anyone who is. Your lawyer or notary and your lender are the right people for those questions.

CostToClose is funded by Google AdSense only. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored content, affiliate arrangements, or link exchanges, and we do not sell leads. Requests of that kind will not receive a reply.
